Gallitzin, PA - the tunnels

That second pair of helper engines heads out of Allegheny tunnel, headed by NS 3369, a SD40-2.
The ice covered, no longer used, Gallitzin tunnel.
Allegheny tunnel was lengthened and widened in 1995 to 3500 ft.
The Tunnel Inn, a B&B right next to the tunnel.
This train begins its descent to Altoona headed by this D9-40CW, NS 9352.
Note the nice new horsehead paint scheme with the white mask on this SD70M, NS 6790.
