Railfanning Ohio: July/August 2005
Worthington, OH

At the west end of Avon Yard in Indianapolis, IN, CSX 8337 and 8376, both SD 40-2s, head up a manifest about to head west. And old pice of MOW equipment outside of Silcott Loco Shop. Next to the right of way of the Ohio Railway Museum, this NS loaded coal train heads north with NS 3548, a D8-23B, in the lead.

This steam engine is part of the collection of the Ohio Railway Museum. An old PCC car. A saddle boiler like the one at Monticello Railway Museum.

An old Illinois Terminal PCC car (on which we rode for a while). An old passenger car with a vestibule at the end. A look down the right-of-way the PCC car rides.

The end of the line. The top of the car caught on fire - an interesting experience. This smoke is from one of the many extinguishers used.
