Bertrand Russell: Love is something far more than desire for sexual intercourse; it is the principal means of escape from the loneliness which afflicts most men and women throughout the greater part of their lives.

Tristfall: In all of life, people wonder about different things, they wonder about the stars, they wonder about themselves, they wonder about meaning. But in all of this wondering we never seem to do anything to alieve someone else's wondering. Instead of letting other people know about ourselves in the same ways we would like to know about other people, we keep secrets and hide things. We for some reason have a built in thing called "shame" which makes us feel sorry for what we have done and for some reason makes us believe that not telling others is the right thing to do. I wonder how we evolved that.

Tristfall: I have fish, they live in my ceiling, they think I am food, I think they are food, we disagree, so we argue, occasionally, with each other, and they usually win, I don't know why, but the more they win, the harder it is for me to come up with logic to beat their logic, oh well, I sleep now, because they just won again.

Tristfall: if you buy a CD rom drive, it comes with an IDE cable, if you buy a hard drive, it comes with an IDE cable, if you buy a mother board, it comes with 2 IDE cables, if you buy an IDE card, it comes with not 1 or 2 but 3 IDE cables, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH ALL OF THESE!?!?!?

Tristfall: with any problem in life, you can rise above that problem and look at it from a different perspective as if rising out of the sheet of paper and viewing the whole thing at the same time. And now you have attained a new level to look at things. But then you can always look at that from a distance, and say "hah, look at me, I think I am so much better just because I rose above that petty problem" and through that you have now attained another level. And so you then could arise above that and look at yourself thinking you're so much better than your former self just because you were looking at yourself from a higher level. And then you can do it again and again, each time it is as if you have attained another dimension of awareness on yourself, but it really gets pretty repetitive as well. So there must be some way to rise up above the infinite number of dimensions instead of just the infinity of one, all at the same time.
