It was raining initially - low light levels lead to high exposure times lead to blurry trains. BNSF 3150, a GP38-2, pulls this mixed freight west. BNSF 6845, an SD40-2, pulls this autorack west. SUN! UP 8212, an SD9043MAC, pulls empty coal west. Note the use of two SD9043MACs.



UP 4633, an SD70M, heads east under the signal bridge with this container train. UP 3099, an SD40-2, heads east under the signal bridge with this mixed freight. Note the second unit still painted in CNW colors, UP 3077, another SD40-2.



It's a Chessie hopper! UP 4258, an SD70M, pulls this long coal train east. With the following help:



UP 5057, another SD70M, helps the coal train. UP 9511, the first GE, a D9-44CW, concludes the engine consist of this train. In Champaign, this Canadian National local heads east towards the yard with ex-IC CN 9623, a GP-15? in the lead.
