Shops tower An old station on the Illinois Midland line. Norfolk Southern roadrailer heads west on the IM diamond headed by NS 2543, an SD70.



Dwarf lights on the Illinois midland. This Amtrack shortly after departure passes in front of the Illinois Capitol headed by AMTK 29, a P-42DC. Removed crossing at Iles Avenue with superelevated rail for fast operation.



This NS train takes advantage of the superelevated rail going West headed by NS 9318, a D9-44CW. The crossing material has yet to have been removed. This interesting siding is near the end of the racetrack of Gateway Western, Norfolk Southern, and Union Pacific.
