Not only did the train have five engines, but it was quite a rainbow as well. Now in Centralia, this BNSF works pusher or DPU service with this empty coal train with BN 9653, an SD70M. This Norfolk Southern train heads south with NS 8390, a D8-40CW, in the lead.

This Norfolk Southern train heads south with NS 8726, a D8-40CW, in the lead. The same train on the curve east out of Centralia - talk about flange noise! The northbound Illini, AMTK 392, in Centralia pulled by AMTK 99, a P42-DC.

Remains of the old UP track in Centralia. A BNSF truck on NS track ?! Perhaps it's shared trackage through town. This tower still stands in Shattuc where the BNSF has a diamond with CSX.
