Railfanning in Tuscola, Pesotum, and Tolono:
October 11,2003

Not much action in Tuscola today. This was the only UP I saw - note the Rio Grande engine. The Pesotum depot off the Illinois Central tracks. An NS D8-40C sits on the interchange track to be used later in the day (see below).

An NS RoadRailer heads east led by a D9-40CW. An NS autorack heads west led by a D9-40CW. A CN mixed freight heads south led by a SD40-2.

Behind the CN engines in the last pictures is this switcher. Behind the same CN engines is this beat-up WC SD45. One word: oops! One of the more interesting things I've seen shipped by rail.

An NS highcube heads west led by a D9-40C. An NS autorack heads west led by a D9-40C. An IC mixed freight heads north led by a SD40-2.

An interesting paing job. An NS intermodal heads east led by a D9-40CW The NS D8-40C from the interchange heads out to pick up cars from the IC interchange.

The NS D8-40C continues north to get its cut of cars.
