April 7 and 9, 2004

Upon arrival this train, headed by CSX 149 - an AC4400, waits in the siding west of the CN/NS diamond. A westbound intermodal, headed by NS 9572 - a D9-40CW, moves past the waiting CSX. Notice this ex-Conrail SD50 now CSX 8647.

The last good picture from Wednesday is this southbound Illini, AMTK 391, as it heads out of Savoy headed by AMTK 191, a P42DC. The first good picture from Friday is this southbound Illini just before it crosses the CN/NS diamond headed by AMTK 28, a P42DC still in Phase 4 paint. The northbound Illini, AMTK 392, comes over the diamond headed by AMTK 123, a P42DC.

Because the main was blocked, the soutbound Illini backs back over the diamond before heading south on the siding. NS 14 crosses the diamond as it heads west pulled by NS 6752, an SD60.

As the light starts to decrease, wesbound NS 27B, headed by NS 6552, another SD60. The last train is eastbound NS 123, headed by NS 9091, a D9-40CW.
